corona lockdown day 65

Last night got about 8 hours of sleep so that was good.
I went to put the roast in the slow cooker and it was still slightly frozen so I had to cut it in 2. Will have dinner tonight though.
Then I wore my new rain boots (ordered online- they are vulcanized rubber whatever that means but they are very comfortable) to walk down to the water. There were sporadic people to avoid and a few more cars than previous weeks. A few dead baby squirrels. When I got to the water there were swarms of mayflies. My white coat became a black spotted coat and they all seemed to want to land on me.
Walking back, I heard a different bird call near a feeder someone set up and I looked up and saw a bird like this:

A rose breasted grosbeak. I had never seen before, so that made the walk more interesting.
