I got up at 7:30. This is later than I like to jog and I knew I had a lot of errands to run so I skipped the jog.
First I went to Loblaws. I hadn't tried Loblaws on Sat morning since the start of the pandemic. It was busier than a weekday but not bad. There were more people wearing masks. They had converted more of the store for the pickup shopping organization. There was no security guard, just a guy slouched against the wall. There was no lineup. I picked up meat, juice, yogurt some fruit and veg and some Naan bread as James was asking for that. I didn't do the inner aisles just around the edges so was fairly efficient. I did the self checkout and all went well.
After I dropped off all the groceries I went to Shoppers. They had no sanitizer at the door. I picked up my first pandemic toilet paper, about $1 more than pre-pandemic prices. I also got some snacks as we wait for the rest of the amazon order to arrive.
So a fairly productive morning.
In the backyard the bunny was there at 10am (which I thought was later than bunnies stay up- I thought they were early morning and evening creatures). Anyway the bunny didn't seem to mind me too much and ate some of the little white flowers growing on my lawn. My lawn is starting to get longer but I won't cut it until I have to for the bunnies sake. Eventually he hopped into the neighbours lawn and out of sight. Probably looking for their garden.
The boxwoods are making their "growing noises" which I look forward to every spring.
The weather yesterday didn't look like it would be great for laundry but it looks ok now so out to hang some and hope that the sun continues!
