corona lockdown day 114

Today was a pretty busy day. I woke up a bit sore because I had been cleaning gutters yesterday. It didn't take long but evidently stretched my muscles in new ways.

I went to Dollarama and Shoppers just after 9am (they are right beside each other). They were both busier than previous weeks but were moving efficiently. Though I arrived pretty early to Shoppers, the shelves of sales that had started at 8am were already all cleared off.

After I went home and hung the laundry and did a bit of work, I went out to the little market truck that is only a few blocks away and picked up fresh strawberries. He's a bit more expensive than grocery stores but you don't need a mask because he is outside and you are supporting local so that works for me. He's a trooper to be working in the heat.

James and I went on an hour long bike ride. We went down by Queen's. Streets were pretty quiet partly due to lack of students and partly due to all the construction that makes it not be a good through area. We had to avoid the pier as that was very busy.

I made frozen organic turkey today from my frozen box. There is only one meal left from my frozen box. Good thing another one will ship soon. Will actually have to buy meat at a grocery store tomorrow to make it through.

James has planned a zoom meeting with his friends for tonight for some hockey pool that they are working on.
