Hard working days

Yesterday was a very long day. Up at 6am, work during the day, headed to Rustle after to collect our apartment rent, then to Carolyn's for a board meeting that went late into the night. Many things to discuss. Then when I got home I needed to do laundry, dishes and some board things so I went to bed quite late.

Woke early to see lots of fog but got back to sleep and slept until 8:30am, which felt good. I had to do some work online but once that was cleared away I did the dishes and laundry and by lunchtime I was on to my main task of the day- preparing for the maxsold auction! I worked for about 8 hours on that. Cleaned James' closet and a closet in the basement and started working my way across the basement. Still lots more to do and I need to tackle the garage as well. Hoping to take pictures on the weekend.
James' room looks good though.

After all that work I made Chicken Panzella

Love the variety of the tomatoes. The peach is prepared to be baked in the oven. It was really good baked. Who knew?
The salad had baby spinach, the tomatoes and grilled peach. The dressing was based on a granular mustard.
Onion also was grilled in the oven. It wasn't bad for onion but I wasn't a huge fan.
Toppings were multigrain croutons and Parmesan petals
Thumbs up for this meal! After dinner cleanup and laundry. Hopefully I wore myself enough to sleep well. Up again in under 6 hours!
