familiarity

Reflecting on the walk to the B&B, last year it seemed like a long walk (Google maps said 40 minutes and it was about that). On that walk it was very hot and the walk was very unfamiliar so it seemed like a long walk. This time, weather was not a factor and I knew where I was going and I was expecting it to feel long, but it didn't, it felt quite short and familiar. Like in Centennial park, I knew that I had to go UP the stairs instead of following the path where last time I had to feel out where I had to go by knowing that I had to get over the bridge.

I had a good sleep, just preparing for the day!
