Did 4 hours of training today without needing to blow my nose! I felt pretty proud of the improvement!
Tomorrow I have to wrap up a lot of things from the training, run another training session and host a learning strategies session.

I thought the storm was to begin at midnight but it seemed to only begin about 7:30am. I trudged though heavy flakes for groceries. It wasn't too busy as it was Sunday morning but it was busier than I thought it would be.
They were out of stock on a few things that I had been looking for.
Watched Rustle online as I still have a bit of a cough and have to blow my nose a lot.
This was a picture before today's storm to show how the last storm had taken down a bush.
This week the meal box had 2 bacon meals and 1 paneer meal. One was bacon and tomato pizza which we have had before. One was bacon tacos which required cooking the veggies in bacon fat. Tasty but probably not too healthy. The last was curried paneer which was quick and easy to make and turned out quite well.
I still have a stuffy nose so I didn't got to Todd's graduation party.
I did shovel up the ice on the pathway as the temperature was above freezing to it had loosened up a bit.
On Wednesday night we had heavy snow coupled with lightning and thunder- thundersnow!
There have been a bunch of people sick in my office and so inevitably I also now have a cold. Am working from home, drinking lots of tea and trying to sleep more.
Today was a long day as Mondays are. The sidewalks were not cleared for the way in, except for the area close to campus. The way home the sidewalks were cleared but becoming icy.
We do a lot of training on Mondays and there is a lot of set up work for the projects to run after reading week.
There is just news of another mass shooting on California. So sad for the families.
In the evening I did Rustle budget things preparing for the budget of 2023.
On Friday I wore the grips into work and then not on the way back. Now with the amount of snow I am just wearing ordinary winter boots.
Yesterday afternoon I spent cleaning up after a fraud issue on the credit card. Don't assume fraudsters will make big purchases, they may make small ones hoping you wont notice.
Then I dropped a pot of yogurt on the floor, more clean up.
Today I watched a very interesting video of the police cleaning up after the california shooting suspect had shot himself. The swat team moved in not knowing if he was still alive or of he was just faking. They had a drone looking in the front window and they moved in formation. The SWAT team was behind shields. One guy had a tool that could break the window and clean the sides in mere seconds. Useful for SWAT teams but hopefully that doesn't get in the hands of thieves!
This morning I wore my cleat boots into work. The sidewalks weren't bad but icy in places. There needs to be a cleat-meter!
On the way home it was supposedly freezing rain but it had apparently snowed beforehand so was not slippery at all.
For dinner made a meal with sticky rice and snap peas. I never get the snap peas peeled properly and there are always hard bits. I will need to do more research if I try the snap peas again.
Yesterday was carmelized chicken with bok choi.
Today there was a freezing rain warning, buses were cancelled. I brought my cleat boots. I watched some precipitate fall during the day. I wasn't out much except to hop across the road to Miller Hall in the afternoon. It wasn't icy in the afternoon. We had a meeting in the evening and I asked a student and they said it was icy, so I wore my cleat boots home but it wasn't too icy. Better safe than sorry. Now their freezing rain warning is for overnight. We'll see what tomorrow looks like.
Yesterday was Tabitha's last day at work. I cried. I will miss her a lot.
Conditions in New Brunswick yesterday with a winter storm and a lot of snow. The team from Nova Scotia anticipated this and so drove up the day before. And the Nova Scotia team won. Hopefully they had a safe drive home.
James was supposed to play in PEI this evening but it was cancelled because of freezing rain in PEI
Yesterday I wore my snow boots into work but wore my rain boots home. It was pretty rainy but it was above 0 so the walk home wasn't too bad. It was late at we had a client meeting.
Apparently it is snowing now and the school buses are cancelled. It is Tabitha's last day.
Last night in New Brunswick it was pretty heavy snow. James texted that the bus was having difficulty Luckily his drive home from the arena in Grand Falls was ok because they had plowed his side of the road. The other side was not plowed yet.
The morning was very grey so hard to get out of bed to gray. It was a long day as the first day of term generally is, but we got a lot of things sorted out so that is good. Walking home there was precipitation but it wasn't too icy. There seems to be a layer of something outside now but I'm not sure if it is snow or ice and I don't want to go outside to find out. There does seem to be some spiky things hitting the window so maybe ice. May be wearing cleats in the morning!
Lots of prep on the weekend but hopefully everything is ready to go for tomorrow.
Todd was speaking at Pine Grove Church this morning and Brendan was speaking at Rustle about Jesus's baptism. I went to Rustle.
Picked up a big tray of fruit at Metro so will need to eat large amounts of fruit for the next few days!
Today Rustle had the first service for 2023!
James made it to Grand Falls.
I had to send some emails for work to prepare thing for 2023.
Then I put primer on a number of areas of the walls that were getting run down. Still need to paint but already it looks much better. My eyeballs are sore- it feels like I painted them as well!
