There was on and off pouring rain today. I missed it both going into work and coming out.
I think bunnies may be living in my garage. Hopefully it keeps them dry!

It has been raining on and off today but not too hard so my coat was wet but not soaked.
Rustle was good today, got to see a number of people I hadn't seen in a while.
The Elevation service was very relevant today: Torn but trusting
Tonight I need to do some work and need to update Rustle's finances. I have the July and August reports to do.
On Friday was the dedication for Izzy's tree, it was very beautiful and I learned a lot more about Izzy than I knew before.
I didn't sleep well on Friday night but I had an extra long sleep last night so hopefully that all balances out.
Today Todd returns from sabbatical so we're having a bit of a celebration before Church.
I biked down to Lake Ontario park today. It was pretty gloomy and cold but still nice. There were more people out than I expected. Also a cormorant, golden squirrel and groundhog.
James said that the intersquad games went well. He wasn't playing in the exhibition game tonight as the coach wanted to play the new squad members to see how they do.
James said that he ate lasagne at his new billets and he LIKED it. I just about fell out of my chair. If I was in a chair.
Today all the first year students moved in so there was lots of traffic congestion, a few accidents and now there are lots of people around!
Hope my Dad had a good day.
James played an intersquad game
I woke up around 5am. Did some dishes and laundry.
Lots of work today- a 9 day workday, still lots to do on the weekend.
Yesterday was a meal with turkey meatballs and today was beef. The turkey had way less grease than the beef. The beef meatballs were very spicy and irritated my stomach but still good!
James managed to lock himself out of his bathroom but that was easy enough to break into with a tool. Then on the same day the side door mechanism broke so the side door is out of commission until the locksmith arrives.
James had a physio appointment after his work today and then stopped by my office so we could walk home together. The only issue is that his pace is about twice as much as my pace and my phone considered it an "afternoon run". I lasted only 10 minutes before I overheated and had to get James to stop. My walking may be healthy but my running is not up to speed!
Last night I think a racoon woke me around 1:30am and I couldn't get back to sleep. I think it may have woken my neighbour who normally goes to bed at 8pm as she was up washing dishes. The neighbour on the other side was playing the piano so a bunch of us were up late/early depending on how you count.
Yesterday I made a chef's plate that was more simple than usual. Flatbread with pesto and zucchini and cheese with some spinach and arugula on top. My stomach seemed pretty irritated by the relatively plain meal. It has had problems with pesto in the past so that could be it. A big week this week.
While my students have become used to my science dresses a delivery guy said he liked my chalkboard dress.
Yesterday I made the ginger peanut turkey stir fry but my burner seemed hotter than usual and that resulted in some burnt bits.
Today my students participated in an engineering training exercise simulation. I was in charge of processing the recording which was huge.
Today I made Gochujang chickpea meal- it was good and didn't burn at all. My burner got its groove back.
I ordered shoes for James on Saturday and they arrived on Monday. I don't even have prime, this was their regular delivery.
Spent the day with the babies as well as the adult broods. Kim has her hands full with all the chickens.
She also gave me a tomato plant which I am struggling to keep alive!
It is pretty hot out but I still walked to food basics at lunch today. The breeze was good and it wasn't a bad walk.
